TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE
It is the responsibility of the Hirer
to ensure that during the hire period all possible steps are taken to avoid injury to users, or damage to the Equipment. Under no circumstances should anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs be allowed to use or supervise the use of the Equipment - Please See Disclaimer Below
1. Ownership: All Inflatables,Soft Play and Equipment on hire or loan remains the property of CLOWNAROUND CASTLES.
2. Suitability of Venue: It is the responsibility of the Hirer to make sure the Venue is suitable for, and can accommodate the Equipment. Please ensure the venue has sufficient floor area and the ceiling height is adequate. If outside, you must ensure the playing area is clean and free from sharp objects, stones, rubbish and any other materials that could be dangerous or cause damage or make the equipment dirty.
3. Condition of Equipment: The Equipment should be checked by the customer at the time of delivery, and if any fault, dirtiness or damages are found, need to be reported to the driver/staff member straight away. If not then this can/will make the customer liable for any damage that has not been recorded
4. Damage: Should any damage occur, or any loss of equipment, or should we find any that's not been reported to us at CLOWNAROUND CASTLES, we reserve the right to claim full monies back from you the customer, We will allow a 14 day payment period, if nothing has been received then we shall persue the matter further.
5. Cancellation: The Customer may cancel a booking anytime up to 14 days before the booking date. If a booking fee has been paid then this will be refunded in full. Where less than 14 days notice is given then CLOWNAROUND CASTLES reserves the right to retain the monies paid/booking fee.
6. Cleaning: CLOWNAROUND CASTLES reserve the right to charge for any cleaning of the Equipment that we undertake at the rate of £25 per hour where it is found to be excessively dirty, marked with face paint, or filled/covered with rubbish,
7. Adverse Weather: CLOWNAROUND CASTLES reserve the right to cancel any outdoor hire on the day, if, at the agreed time for delivery, we deem the weather conditions unfit for the safe use of the Equipment. We will always be in constant contact with the customer a few days prior due to changing weather conditions.
8. On the Hire Date, the Hiree must ensure that...
a) Access to the Venue is available at the Delivery and Collection Times, and that the customer or their representative are there to meet the driver/staff unless something has been pre-arranged beforehand with us.
b) A safe electrical supply is located within 25m of the operating location for the Equipment
c) The Hire Fee, or any balance due, is to paid in full at the point of delivery
d) The operating site for the Equipment at the Venue is level, and free from any underground services (gas, electric, water etc), overhead cables and trees.
e) The Hiree, or their representative (must be 18 yrs or over), has the authority to sign for the Equipment delivered, and receive a safety and operating briefing
9. Waiting times: Should we not be able to gain access at the agreed Delivery point or Collection Times, CLOWNAROUND CASTLES reserves the right to charge the customer for waiting time based at the rate of £25 per half hour or part time of.
10. Access: If any Equipment needs to be delivered through a building or buildings, it is the Hirees' responsibility to ensure that any surface or valuable fixture/fittings are adequately protected. CLOWNAROUND CASTLES cannot be held liable for any damage that may be occur where inadequate protection measures have been taken
11. Moving Equipment: please do not move the inflatable once it has been set up and signed for, this could cause an injury to a person, or damage to the inflatable. The Hire is not to use our extension leads (where used) to plug in any of their own equipment. The leads we use are specifically for our equipment only.
12. Subletting: No sub-letting of the Equipment is permitted
13. Adverse Weather: In the case of an outdoor hire, the Hiree is responsible for ensuring that the inflatable Equipment is not used during inclement weather conditions. Where conditions deteriorate to the point where continued use may result in personal injury or damage to property, the inflatable Equipment must be deflated immediately and, in any event, must be deflated where wind speeds exceed 24mph (Force 5). Re-inflation should not take place until weather conditions have improved and it is safe to do so. Upon re-inflation, all anchorage points must be checked and any water removed.
14. Party Booking Fees: Party Booking Fees are paid to reserve equipment and labour for your event. As stated on your party invoice, they are not refundable in the event of customer cancellation. All cancellations must be made in writing and received by CLOWNAROUND CASTLES.

All payments made are treated as booking fees and non-refundable. Where cancellations are due to unsuitable weather conditions, We reserve the right to offer an alternative date within 3 months at our discretion.

Please note that all persons using CLOWNAROUND CASTLES inflatables do so at their own risk. The person/organisations hiring this equipment, will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of the misuse or the reckless neglect of this equipment. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and is the sole responsibility of the hirer to insure they are followed.
CLOWNAROUND CASTLES cannot except ant responsibility for any injury caused while using this equipment.
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HIRER TO ENSURE THAT ALL POSSIBLE STEPS ARE TAKEN TO AVOID INJURY TO USERS AND DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT. PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE FOLLOWING SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES.
Age Restrictions apply to certain units and this will be marked on the inflatable and explained upon setup.
Please ensure no one over the permitted age uses the equipment.
2. No food or drink is to be consumed on the inflatable, This will
Avoid the possibility of choking or mess.
3. All shoes, glasses, jeweller and badges must be removed
Before entering the inflatable.
4. Strictly no Face paints, Party Poppers, or Silly String is to be
Allowed on or new the inflatable. This can cause expensive
damage through staining and will be chargeable.
5. No Smoking or Drinking glasses are permitted near the
inflatable at any time. Do not use your fire pit or BBQ anywhere nearby.
6. No climbing or hanging on the walls or roof. No flips or
somersaults are permitted, This can cause serious injury.
7. A Responsible Adult MUST supervise the inflatable at
At all times.
8. Ensure that the inflatable is not over crowded. Refer to the
correct number of users and user heights as per the label and
markings on the inflatable. If you are unsure, please ask.
9. Try to avoid large and small children using the inflatable at the
same time. We recommend that you rotate by age and size.

10. Do not allow users to bounce on the front step. It is there to

11. Ensure that no one with a history of neck, back or joint injury

12. Do not allow users to enter the inflatable during inflation or
deflation.
13. In the event of heavy rain or strong gusty wind, the unit must
be switched off. Any wetness must be dried off once the rain
has stopped using a clean towel prior to users going back on.
Max Permitted Predicted Wind Speed is 24mph inc Gusts.
THE UNIT MUST BE SWITCHED OFF IF WIND SPEED IS
IN EXCESS OF 24MPH. IF UNSURE, PLEASE ASK.
14. Ensure the blower vent is kept clear at all times.
15. If you are unsure of any element if the safe operation of this
inflatable at any time during the hire period, please contact us
before you let any further use commence.
16. Never attempt to reposition the unit at any time. This can
Affect safety and is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
17. In the event of any damage to the equipment, you must
cease use and contact us immediately.
18. NEVER ALLOW ANYONE TO REMOVE THIS EQUIPMENT
Unless they present 'Clownaround Castles' Identification.

The Person/Organisation hiring this equipment will be responsible for any damage or injury occurring as a result of misuse or reckless use. A Competent Adult (18 years or Over) must Supervise this equipment at all times.
